I work with my students (one is from Sri Lanka and the other is Portuguese) and with colleagues from across the UK, Europe and elsewhere.

Mostly with other people on larger projects, but occasionally by myself on my own projects.

I do both. I have my own projects that only I am working on in the lab. But I also work with teams of people on larger projects, often I am working with people in industry.

Always work with other people on projects and for lab work it is mandatory not to work alone.

It depends on the type of project. Normally I work with other people because the world has gotten too complicated. You cannot be very good at everything, so rather than be mediocre at many things I work with people who are very good at things I struggle with.
