        That is a great question and the answer is yes. It gets more difficult the further you go along the path. If you believe in yourself and have some champions along the way, it gives you the resilience to overcome any difficulties and get there! Do what you believe in and believe in yourself. 🙂

        Zahra has made some great comments already, and I agree! I also think that you can spend so long getting somewhere, it’s really important that you enjoy everything along the way. It’s not all about the final destination, and often you can veer off in unexpected directions.

        I completely agree with Zara. One thing to add: luck is in the end also a deciding factor. And you need to learn to accept that there are things beyond your control that can prevent you from getting where you want to.

        It takes effort to progress in any career. You get back what you put in, however. So as it took a lot of effort to become a professor, then it was hard. But it was fun too. Hard work can be fun if you enjoy what you are doing.

        It can be hard work and it can also be fun. I also believe you have to try your best and hardest at everything, when you do you have the satisfaction that you did your best. Although the outcome is now always what you thought it would be, people recognize you’ve worked hard and you’re usually rewarded in one way or another.

        I always think you get out what you put into life. So it’s hard work but in a good way, If you find a job you enjoy you can work hard & have fun at the same time!
