        COVID tests aren’t really weird… they are pretty much like most modern tests looking for bits of specific genetic information in that they involve swabbing and then mixing the swab with special chemicals before using some simple indicator system that involves other chemicals.

        I don’t think they a weird at all. They are the standard tests we use to detect viruses and viral infections. Taking the sample with a long stick though your nose feels weird though. But that is simply because that is where most of the virus you can easily get to is.
